Meet our Peel Health Care Doctors
Welcome to Peel Health Care
Peel Health Care Ltd was established in August 2005 by the Directors of North West Slopes (NSW) Division of General Practice Ltd in an effort to address the chronic shortage of General Practitioners (GP’s) and Allied Health professionals within the Tamworth area.
We are an innovative and dynamic fully managed GP practice and are committed to facilitating the delivery of high quality health care in a friendly and modern environment. The practice promotes a team approach to good health, with a comprehensive team of professionals. GP registrars, medical and nursing students are taught by the practitioners in the practice. The practice is fully accredited with AGPAL.
Peel Health Care commenced operation on the 25th August 2005 at 160-168 Bridge Street, Tamworth. In June 2009, due to the rapid and continuous growth and expansion, Peel Health Care re-located to 103 Peel Street, Tamworth into a new purpose built medical centre with spacious and modern facilities, a large practice nurse area and student facilities.
Doctors
At Peel Health Care we pride ourselves on attracting the best general practitioners to Tamworth. We believe that living in a major regional centre should mean you have access to highly trained and professional doctors who have a wealth of experience.
We encourage the doctors to continue their education, to be part of our strong team environment and to play a role in mentoring young doctors.
Most importantly, patients at Peel Health Care have their own doctor – so they can build a health history, feel at ease, and develop an important doctor-patient relationship. We think this results in better care for each patient.
The doctors practising through Peel Health Care don’t have to worry about the management or everyday running of the practice, they can come to work and do what they do best – care for their patients and practice outstanding medicine.
Both male and female doctors practise at Peel Health Care, with a vast array of interests and specialist areas. The doctors team with other health care professionals including the practice nursing team, diabetes educators, physiotherapist, psychologist and podiatrist.
